Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Tis the holiday season, and what better way to celebrate than with good cheer! We had an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, and it was fun. The first place winner took home a Fruitcake and a collection of holiday favorite DVD’s, and the runner up got a fruitcake, can’t have too many of those, now can ya’? Have a great Holiday everyone!

Gift Certificates with a Sweet Surprise

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

Okay, okay so everyone is offering $5.00 off of a purchase of a $25.00 Gift Certificate, not bad, but that does not thrill me at all. Do you want to know what does? Of course you do, The Ultimate Carrot Cake, or any dessert, let’s be honest here. Well since I often say it’s all about me, we’re going with that. Purchase a $25.00 Gift Certificate & get a free dessert. The give to get gift, is that the anti-Christmas spirit? No, I should say not. While you are feeling good about getting your loved ones a gift, why not feel good while eating a fabulous dessert too? Happy Holidays:)

Goings On…

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Can you believe tomorrow is December? ARGHH! Well my mom & decorated the restaurant this morning, getting ready for Holiday parties, there are some dates still available, be sure to call & see what we can put together for you. As I was decorating I was thinking of all of our new draft lines we added last week. We have added some fantastic seasonal beers; Magic Hat Winter Howl, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Samuel Adams Winter, Red Hook Winter Ale & Harpoon Winter Warmer. Not sure what to choose, no problem, we have a Sampler tray! Try 5 different beers, how awesome is that?! Since we have 17 different beers on tap, you may have to stop in a few times and sample them all!

Happy Holidays

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

I was out with some friends last night, and had a great time. This morning I find myself smiling & giggling as I recount our conversations, and I am thinking how thankful I am to have such blessings in my life. I have a wonderful group of friends, a job I love, and above all an amazing family. That’s what I am thankful for, this year, and every year. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

St. Patty’s Day

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

We had an unbelievable St. Patty’s Day! Too fun! I cooked Corned Beef all weekend, and I have to say it was AMAZING! Some guy told me after he ate his that he wanted to marry me! The Jameson girls and a Bagpiper stopped by early in the afternoon, my kids loved it, as well as everyone else who was here. But I got a picture of Colin & Brody, I think I will make it my Christmas card this year. Well since we, as in me, love St. Pats so much, we celebrate every month on the 17th. Our motto, “Don’t be an amatuer on St. Patrick’s Day, Practice with us every month on the 17th for St. Practice Day.”
