Only 3 days until the first leg of the Triple Crown begins! We’ll be catching the excitement at Churchill Downs on our gorgeous 60″ HD tv, and a few more gorgeous tv’s also! The 60″ is just so pretty! Enjoy Mint Juleps, a favorite in Kentucky, and some homemade spiced pecans at the bar! Do you think you can pick the winner? Looking at Lucky is the front runner after the favorite Eskendereya was cut due to an injury. I personally am rooting for Dublin and Paddy O’Prado, for obvious reasons! The Olde Post is a great place to meet with friends! We have such a great casual comfortable atmosphere, come in and catch up with old friends or meet some new ones. I have watched over the years some of our customers meet and become close as time passed. It really is an honor to know that we have created a place people feel comfortable to come to on their own, with their families, or friends. Tis the holiday season, and what better way to celebrate than with good cheer! We had an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, and it was fun. Can you believe tomorrow is December? ARGHH! Well my mom & decorated the restaurant this morning, getting ready for Holiday parties, there are some dates still available, be sure to call & see what we can put together for you. As I was decorating I was thinking of all of our new draft lines we added last week. We have added some fantastic seasonal beers; Magic Hat Winter Howl, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Samuel Adams Winter, Red Hook Winter Ale & Harpoon Winter Warmer. Not sure what to choose, no problem, we have a Sampler tray! Try 5 different beers, how awesome is that?! Since we have 17 different beers on tap, you may have to stop in a few times and sample them all!
